2025 Product Pricing Adjustments Explained
Pricing at markets and on this website have to be adjusted for our New Brunswick 15% HST. We have kept our product prices the same, but we’ve adjusted with a (lower) rounding off for HST. Our consignment stores have always been collecting HST on all our products, but we were avoiding charging personal contact customers the tax at markets and online. Circumstances dictate we can no longer do that for our personal sales. We feel it will be easier to have our personal contact sales prices to include HST rather than have to charge an additional 15% during checkout on market days or at checkout online.
We have always, and will continue to source our ingredients from top quality Canadian suppliers, to ensure to support other Canadians within the industry first. We acknowledge that many ingredients are originating from other countries, as Canada can’t successfully grow some of the plants our ingredients derive from. If and when import tariffs may be applied to these exotic ingredients, ie: if ingredients ship to Canada through US ports, our prices may need adjusting, but we will do everything we can to avoid price increases.
As with all Canadians, we have our Elbows Up and will do everything we can to support other Canadian businesses in all our exchanges!
